Transform Film Festival is produced by the Women’s Community Center of Central Texas and the Austin School of Film, and in partnership with the Hive Arts Collective. The festival is Austin’s only festival dedicated to films by women Texans (cis and trans).

About: This film festival is organized by three women-run organizations:
Motion Media Arts Center: Motion Media Arts Center is a 501c(3) non-profit independent film, art, and technology center that supports every aspect of production from creation to presentation.
Our goal is empower, support and educate emerging artists of all ages to be active participants in shaping our culture and engage communities to rethink the way we view film, art and technology. We provide alternative ways to work, learn, create, and consume the arts in the digital era. Our programs include Austin School of Film and Austin Cinemaker Space.
Hive Arts Collective is a group of women and non-binary people from all backgrounds and experiences in Austin, TX coming together on a weekly basis to strengthen our skills and awareness of the arts. A core group of facilitators plan and carry out events, while all members vote to inform decisions.
Women’s Community Center of Central Texas: The mission of the Women’s Community Center of Central Texas is to promote the well being of Texas women and girls and to build positive connections among people and organizations that do the same. The WCC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The Transform Film Festival is part of the WCC Alt Girl Cinema programming.
