Basic Woodworking I: Low Bench Making

25.00

Join us for a day of woodworking at Co.Lab, Austin’s only nonprofit makerspace!

When: July 27th, 11am-1pm at Co.Lab, 8711 Burnet Rd Suite G 80

In this project, we'll explore woodworking tools like mitre saws, drills and impact drivers, jigsaws and nail guns to build our own low benches for use as altars, book holders, show rack, whatever your household needs! Cut your bench to size, and then choose from a couple simple styles of table leg to fit your own aesthetic. Once your project is finished, you can stain and paint it, or continue to craft your project in Basic Woodworking II directly after.

NOTE: This HIVE collaboration is (only) for women-identified and non-binary makers.
