Beginner's Woodworking: Serving Tray

  • Museum of Human Acheivement 3600 Lyons Road Austin, TX, 78702 United States (map)

Come learn the basics of woodworking and make a serving tray with the badasses of Broads and Boards!

This class will get you more familiar with a compound miter saw, drill, and nailer.  Customize this project by bringing your own handles (select the ticket without handles) or let us provide the handles for you. The ticket cost includes all supplies, plus you will walk away with your own hand-built tray!

About our instructor: Leeann Terwilliger is a social worker and woodworker.  She is the founder of Broads and Boards, an Austin non-profit dedicated to empowering women in woodworking through workshops and events that promote access, education, and community. Broads and Boards aims to create safe and welcoming spaces for women to learn woodworking and other trade skills.
