You don’t need fancy equipment to make good photos, just good lighting. Bring a DSLR, a point and shoot digital camera, or even your camera phone and learn hands on how to make better portraits using simple lighting techniques.

About the artist: Sarah Lim is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Austin. She uses bold colors and strong lighting to capture her often fun and quirky subjects. Clients include: Texas Monthly, The New York Times, Canon, Time Inc., & Food Network.
