Turn your frustration into art!

Come help us create an artistic response to the current political climate. This is our third meeting in an ongoing series where we engage in activism through art making with a strong focus on community and intersectionality. ᴛʜɪs ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ɪs ᴅᴇsɪɢɴᴇᴅ ғᴏʀ ᴀʟʟ ᴡᴏᴍᴇɴ. ᴛʜɪs ᴍᴇᴀɴs ᴡᴏᴍᴇɴ ᴏғ ᴄᴏʟᴏʀ, ᴛʀᴀɴs/ǫᴜᴇᴇʀ/ᴄɪs ᴡᴏᴍᴇɴ ᴀɴᴅ ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ɴᴏɴᴄᴏɴғᴏʀᴍɪɴɢ ɪɴᴅɪᴠɪᴅᴜᴀʟs.

Last meeting we decided on the topic of "the body as contested space" and will be either painting a mural or making street art. Submit ideas for designs by emailing them to Design guidelines can be found here. By the end of this meeting we hope to chose an ideas/ideas to use for this project and begin to plan how we will implement it.

The only materials required for this FREE session are your ideas, visions and the willingness to put them into action. Feel free to BYOB or snacks to share.
