Telling Your Story w/ Heather Hasselle

Where do stories come from? What are you aching to communicate? Through a group discussion and introspective writing exercise, the class will pinpoint reasons for writing and what we hope to accomplish through storytelling. Writers will also begin a draft or outline of a story to be workshopped in the last part of the series.

This is the second class in the three part short fiction series.

Heather Hasselle is a writer from Mississippi who works as a teacher and improv theatre performer in Austin, Texas. She has attended several writing workshops including the Iowa's Summer Writers' Workshop, Zoetrope All-story, and Tin House Summer Workshop. She teaches creative writing to kids through Badgerdog Literary Publishing and Austin Bat Cave.
